Blue Sky membership FAQ

Answers to common questions about joining Blue Sky, verifying your email, membership payments, privacy of your records and community moderation.

Who can join Blue Sky?

Membership is open to individuals who want to take part in a cooperative focused on financial education and peer learning. Accounts are created with your full name, email address and a password, and administrators oversee membership approval.

Do I have to verify my email address?

Yes. After registering you receive a verification link by email. Until you open that link the account is not confirmed, and you can ask us to send the link again from the sign-in screen.

Can I register twice with the same email or phone number?

No. Each email address and phone number can be used for one member account only. If the details are already registered, you are directed to sign in or reset your password instead.

How are membership payments handled?

Payments are recorded against your membership account and confirmed by an administrator. Confirmed and pending payments both appear in your payments history inside the member area.

Who can see my records?

You see only your own membership, payment and cooperative records. Privacy settings in your account also control what other members can see on your profile.

What is expected of members in the community?

Respectful, on-topic participation. Posts and messages are moderated against the community guidelines, and members can report content that breaks them.

Does Blue Sky guarantee returns?

No. Financial markets involve risk and results are never guaranteed. Outcomes depend on market performance and applicable cooperative policies.
